They'll write stories about us

I like how I always find gum in your pockets or how there’s always some candy floss stuck in your hair.
I like your mess as it is, I promise – scars and all. I’ll embrace you if you give me a chance. Don’t let me go, don’t make me wait.

If you catch me flicking stones on your window – I won’t apologise.
I won’t be sorry for loving you so.
And I'll search for your warm embrace each night,
Because you’re the reason I stay, every time.
You’re the reason I go off-guard – exposing my raw wounds to the crisp cold air.
I don’t worry about getting hurt again.
I’ve come to love the pain and joy of loving you.
Someday it is going to be just us, sitting on the porch and sipping on Gin & Tonic.
It'll be just us against the world baby, as long as I keep you sane and you keep me strong.
I believe they will be writing stories about us, darling.
They will. Trust me.
